Dear parents,
Yesterday, 2A-2F pupils have their first eat together session in class and they were all very well-behaved. Most of the pupils were very appreciative of the food that was given to them and greeted the teachers and peers before digging in. This is the kind of traditional values we hope to instil into the children, so they learn to respect their elders and friends.
A handful of pupils were rather reluctant to try the vegetables initially. However, after much encouragement and persuasion from the teachers (not to waste food), they ate it and enjoyed it thoroughly. Great job teachers & P2 pupils! :)
Photos will be uploaded soon :)
For your information, CNY Spring Cleaning will be carried out in 12th Feb, Friday, during the last two periods. Pupils are required to bring a rag along and do simple cleaning up of the classrooms.
We will be having our CNY celebration after our CNY holiday break, which falls on 18th Feb, Thursday. Pupils will be asked to bring mandarin oranges and come in traditional chinese costume (if they have). It will definitely be a good CNY celebration with teachers and peers! Yeah!
More details will be updated again. Meanwhile, i certainly hope all children are enjoying their time in P2. Take care. :)

Dear Parents,
In an effort to enhance our pupils learning of Chinese Language, a 8 week after school program to introduce idioms to the pupils as well as strengthening their oral skills will commence in week 3. Please refer to the table below for the schedule:
2A – 2F Monday 2-3pm
2G – 2M Tuesday 2-3pm
Please note that lunch will be provided. In conjunction with the school’s emphasis on the importance of recycling, we seek your kind cooperation by equipping your child with 1 spoon, 1 lunchbox and 1 plastic bag so they can have lunch in the classroom once per week. Pupils will bring home their utensils to wash.
If your child is unable to attend the enrichment classes due to other commitment, please kindly inform your child's form teacher so that prior arrangement can be made for your child to join another class on another day.
Please ensure that your child’s name and class is clearly labelled on the lunchbox as well as on the utensils. Pupils who are on halal diet will be provided with a separate menu. As for pupils who are vegetarians, they will be provided with meal that does not contain any meat. However, if you are worried that your child may be hungry after the meal, you may prepare additional light snacks for him/her.
Pupils who are taking school bus at 4pm will be brought to the library. They will be taken care of by teachers on duties.
Do note that you will be paying for the enrichment class and it will be included in the co-curricular activities payment.
If you have any queries, please contact your child’s Chinese teacher. Lastly, we look forward to your child having an enjoyable lunch time with teachers and peers!
Best Regards,
Ms. Lim Ke Xin
